Best News This Year!

Friday afternoon at work, my best friend in the 7th grade, Meg, called me to inform me that there would be an addition to their family!!

[For those of you who don't know....Meg and Peter are, in the words of Charlotte in the movie "Sex and the City," "reproductively challenged" and have been fortunate enough to be able to adopt Katie who will be turning 4 this year and Allen who will be turning 2 this year. ]

So anyway, Meg got a call from Allen's birth mom who is pregnant asking Meg if they wanted to take their unborn baby as well so that her and Allen would be together! And of course, they happily accepted Allen's true sister who is due to arrive on April 1st, but the doctors believe the baby may come early.....like on March 27 maybe which just happens to be MY birthday! How exciting would that be for another one of "nieces" to have the same birthday as me!!!

The birth parents have already chosen the name, Hannah for the baby and Meg is going to keep that name. (I absolutely love that name!) So Baby Hannah will be arriving sometime soon for us all to enjoy and I can't hardly wait!!! It was the best news I'd had all year! :o)
