Scared? I know me too! We had an AWESOME time last night going trick-or-treating!! I was able to get off work early to go get the kiddos and get them ready....that helped tons! So as soon as we got home, Jason called and said that he had just gotten another service call downtown and would be heading that way to fix a light tower and didn't know when he might be home with traffic and all.....SO, I decided to go ahead and bath the kiddos so that we wouldn't have to do it when we got in late. We took a bath and I got the kids dressed in their costumes!
Jonah's costume wasn't too bad because he was "Venom" from Spider-Man 3 and just had to slip on his costume over his clothes......I did however, have to clean a few Cheetos stains off of it first from their party at school--not too bad though! He was pretty scary with his mask on and all!! Here he is posing in a common Spider-Man stance.......scary!
And as for Baby Girl, well her costume just needed to be slipped on over her clothes too, but it also needed to be safety pinned together in the back to keep it up where it's supposed to be! (It was a little too big, but cute!) She got to wear her new black shoes, which she was quite happy
about and I had to put a bow in her hair so that people wouldn't think she was just a cute little boy!
I had to lay Baby Girl down on the grass to get the full Spider effect! (and to see all her legs!) She wasn't too excited about it but she laid down long enough for me to get a quick shot! I don't think she fully understood the whole Halloween thing and was just going along because her big brother was doing it too!
We decided that as long as Jason was downtown working, that we would head to the outlet mall because they were handing out candy from the various stores--safe and good treats! I believe we have more than enough just with the mall, but we always hit a few houses as well...so we went there!

So we got to the mall and started at the Disney store with stickers and made it the whole way around the mall!! It was nice and the kids loaded up on the goodies! They also got other things like stickers and cookies and coupons! They weren't as excited about the coupons as they were about the candy, but 20 % off is pretty good! So as we journeyed our way around the mall, we stopped to play on the little "rides" they had and took some pictures too!
Sorry it came out kinda fuzzy, but neither one of them wanted to slow down long enough for me to get a good shot! They were pretty excited to "ride the bus!"

We went to visit Ms. Rhonda's house next, Jonah's first caretaker when he was an itty bitty little guy! She took good care of him and we still go visit her and her family every Halloween--it was good to see her! (She gave the kids extra candy.) And then we went to a friend/co-workers house that we usually go to even when she says that this is the last year she's handing out candy! (Guess she wants us to start using the back door or something?) When we got to her house, Baby Girl was getting used to saying "tic tee"--translation? "Trick or Treat" duh! Well Kelly put the bowl of goodies down to her level and she just kept grabbing candy after candy and putting in her little pink Halloween bag! And then she'd say "tank u"--I'm you already know that one! (Thank you!) But it was so funny because she'd walk a few steps away and then turn around like she was at a new house and say "tic tee" again and ask for more candy!! And Kelly, being the super candy-hander-outer, would drop the bowl back down to her level so she could get some candy! Kelly was pretty much out of candy by the time we finally left!! Thanks Kelly!!! :o)
So after hitting both houses, we went to pick up Daddy! Baby Girl just kept calling him and calling him--she missed her Daddy! We went to the First Baptist Church where they were having a little Halloween thing there with games for the little guys (you got candy for prizes!) And then in their gym, they had moonwalks!! (You know those bouncy jumpy things--the kids love them!)
Well, after all that, we were pretty wiped out and hungry--so we decided to just go home, eat dinner, get our pj's on and go to bed! Whew....what a night! Here are a couple more pics we took....
